Art

TechSpace is dedicated to supporting the growth of Central Oregon artists. We are excited to have the following artists in TechSpace Bend:

Jesse J. Lockwood

Oregon-based artist, Jesse J. Lockwood has been drawing and painting since his early grade school days. Born and raised in the small town of Roseburg, Oregon, he grew up spending a lot of time outdoors talking with the animals
Working mainly in oils, Jesse’s unique style gives the viewer a spectrum of imagery that beckons for further visual investigation. He uses an extensive color palette that, at times, has been described as a bit psychedelic. Artistic influences include: Salvador Dali, including his Paranoiac Critical Method, Hieronymus Bosch, Todd Schorr, Robert Williams, Alex Grey, MARS-1, Mark Ryden, Scott Musgrove, James Jean and Shepard Fairey, to name a few.

Lori LaBissoniere

“My love for art began as a young child growing up in Central Washington’s Yakima Valley.  I was blessed with an amazingly supportive family who allowed me to create, explore the outdoors, and to follow my dreams of traveling to far off destinations.  My desire to seek out new inspirations for beauty grew at Gonzaga University where I studied art and spent my junior year abroad in Paris, France and Florence, Italy. ”

“My paintings reflect the beauty that I have discovered in my travels to the Carribean Islands, Australia, Baja, Hawaii, Europe and Canada, with my own added twist of drips, swirls, and varying line.  I currently live in Bend, Oregon and work as a substitute teacher and am a resident artist at Poethouse Art.  When I am not painting, I spend my time hiking, biking, snowboarding, surfing, traveling, learning new languages and exploring new places.”
